Have you ever wondered...
...How to get the best grade on a test?
...How to know if someone is flirting with you?
...What faculty like to do in their spare time?
...Where to join a research lab?
...Whatever happened to that smart kid in your class who graduated?
...How to make the most out of your psychology degree?
If you've ever wondered about any of those things, this is the place for you. If you have other questions or curiosities about life (ex. how to get your parents to say "yes" to a vacation in the Bahamas), this is also the place for you. Whether you're a psychology major or not, whether you are a member of Psi Chi or want to be, this is the place for you.
Do you sense a theme here?
Hey everyone! Glad you could make it to our blog. We are, collectively, the leaders of the Psi Chi chapter of Monmouth University. There's a handy tab on the top of the page introducing each of us, but here's the run down: Psi Chi is an International Honors Society in Psychology. Majors and minors can apply to join, and once you're in, you are a member of the elite for life! Psi Chi offers great opportunities, such as special scholarships and awards, as well as great advice in their newsletter.
We hope to be a snippet of what Psi Chi encompasses by making a blog geared to you. We'll be posting college hacks, thesis, faculty, and research lab spotlights. We'll tell you how to better yourself in a relationship, if feminism is a good thing, what to tip in a restaurant and what it means about you.
We'll be your Cosmopolitan, National Geographic, Buzzfeed, Brain Games, all tied into one. We'll tell you about the psychology professors you'll come to know and love, about the thesis ideas that have made waves in the past, where the heck everyone ended up, who the cool invited speakers are, and everything else you ever wanted to know.
In short, we are Psi Chi. And welcome to our blog.
